Improving Cholesterol Profiles for Type II Diabetes

A double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study showed that a proprietary ingredient combination, Diachromeâ„¢ (chromium picolinate and biotin), significantly improved cholesterol profiles in people with Type II diabetes. In this study, 34 participants with Type II diabetes were randomized to receive a nutritional beverage fortified with Diachrome, or the same beverage without Diachrome, for 12 weeks.

The group receiving the beverage containing Diachrome revealed significant decreases in total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol, and increases in the healthy HDL form of cholesterol, compared to the control group.
