The board of directors of Schiff Nutrition International Inc., a supplier of vitamins, nutritional supplements and nutrition bars, appointed Tarang Amin as CEO, president and a director of the company with effect from March 7, 2011.
Amin will succeed Bruce Wood, CEO, president and director, who will retire on the same day.
Most recently Amin served as vice president and general manager of The Clorox Company, leading the Litter, Food and Charcoal Strategic Business Units. He also served in vice president roles with Clorox in Cleaning Division marketing and Global Health and Wellness.
Previously Amin spent 12 years at Procter & Gamble and held management positions in Beauty Care and Family Care.
